"When it comes to shopping for a mortgage, many homebuyers find the Internet the best source for researching a loan, comparing interest rates, and evaluating lenders. But when they're ready to finalize a deal, homebuyers usually turn off the computer and head to a local mortgage broker or banker." New York Times 1/1/01. |

We are pleased to announce A. J.
Romano Mortgage Company celebrating over 19 years of service in Connecticut. Our company
is a family run business dedicated to superior personal service at the most competitive
interest rates. Lower
Interest Rates! We work with over
25 national wholesale mortgage banks across the country searching for the lowest interest
rates for our customers. When you work with Peoples Bank, for example, you get one
rate only which may not even be competitive. In addition, we lock our customers at
time of application, not after the loan is approved like some online companies. With
A. J. Romano Mortgage Co. you may be able to relock to a lower rate at no extra
cost. Lower fees! A. J. Romano Mortgage has
lower fees which we have put in writing. Compare our
fees to the "junk" fees from the other internet sites. The big web sites
may appear to offer lower interest rates but their extra fees add up costing you thousands
of dollars. |
If, during the application process, interest
rates drop 1/8% (.125) or more, we will re-lock the loan with
a new investor at no cost to the borrower provided that the new investor
offers a comparable program. Also, rates cannot be re-locked once the loan file has been
submitted for final underwriting. This program offers the borrower protection against
rising interest rates but allows the borrower to take advantage of lower rates.
Interest rates may fluctuate daily and have been known to change within a business day
based on economic changes on Wall Street and Main Street. Check out our competitive rates.
